petit hommage à une cicatrice qui sauve des vies

La césarienne est souvent vu comme la seule solution pour sauver la vie d’un bébé à naitre ou de la maman qui est à risque. Et souvent, cette opération laisse des traces… Même si on est fier du résultat d’avoir un bébé, il est souvent valorisant de pouvoir donner une touche sympatique à cette coupure qui n’embelli personne…

Alors voici un petit album photo suggestion pour les mamans qui cherchent une façon de cacher cette cicatrice historique !!!

Pour une personne non dyslexique, les exercices peuvent parraitre incompréhensibles… il faut relire quelques fois pour comprendre ce qui est écrit réellement… C’est pour pratiquer les neuronnes d’un enfant dyslexique, pour apprendre au cerveau à décortiquer les mots et les rattacher pour créer des phrases.

Map Défi: BusStop CatWalk

L’an dernier, j’ai eu un challenge avec PrinceVidz après avoir fait sa carte officielle… Avec les changements de propriétés sur Rust, il devenait impossible ou presque de construire une base avec les Bus Stops… j’ai couvert le sujet à plusieurs reprises…

et cette semaine PrinceVidz m’a demandé de créer une nouvelle carte avec les Bus Stops comme challenge. Que des Bus Stops et des Tunnels pour les comps…

Alors voilà, c’est cette carte.

Il y a plus de 50 Bus Stops répandus un peu partout sur la carte, dont 35 sur le bord des routes…

Et quelques-unes dans des endroits douteux, pour un peu de challenge!

Quelques détails:

La foret est très boisée, et le centre de la carte est complètement plat, donc le challenge principal est de trouver des comps pour construire, et aussi pour recycler et s’armer…

La carte n’est plus en démonstration, mais peut être testée à la demande..

A tribute to Welyn’s 2.5M fan base.. we climb it again

Last month, Welyn decided to show gratitude to his large Subs on Youtube, and had a trip at the Mt Shavano for a great climbing adventure with his mom and Rhys

I was impressed by the decor… similar in many parts to what we have in Rust, but compared to Rust, there was way higher mountains and yeap, lots of summits…

So I challenged myself to create a similar decor in Rust, with some differences… The city of Salida is represented, but it’s a ghost village where players can install themselves without the need to build compounds…

The map is similar to the region of Salida, but it would’ve been hard to replicate, so I used Rust content to make it good… In Welyn’s video, we have a view from the treeline… It is « similar » in the map… 🙂

For all the other details, you have to watch the entire video and play the map… But… I added some details that does not exists at Mt Shavano and neither inside Rust in vanilla.

While observing Welyn for the last 2 years, one thing I found is that he is not a « PVP fights in Monuments » type of guy.. Most of his movies and plays are in the wild, against general public players, and focussing on destroying bases of toxic or trolls. Having a map built for this kind of scenario is way more complicated than just using the Procedural Generator…

Having a custom map just for the fun of it is kinda boring. This scenario is fun when you roleplay, because it is about Tourism, Mountain Treking, and Wildlife Preservation in a game where you focus on surviving… So it’s acting like Welyn to fight the wrongdoing guys… 🙂

 

1- Official Rust content is minimal… No large monument, and just some small custom monuments. This is to attain a certain level of touristic feel to the map.

2- This region is a National Wildlife Area, so each  summit has a Firetower to watch over the sector… filled with tier2, you need a green card to enter.

3- Since Welyn is running out of water at the halfway point, we have on the map a multitude of water wells at the height of the treeline.

4- Resources are more than important when playing on a Creative play server… When you do the climbing for the right goals, you are rewarded with nodes everywhere… and plenty of locations to install your base.

5- The fishing village is complete, and there are some sneaky scientists observing the scene from the sky… You can use a mini-copter to attack them!

6- The map is about Mountains, in Colorado… and so there are some toilet stations… you can even use them to protect yourself from weather or to fight the Heli.

Anyway, this is it… on october 8th, the server was wiped out for the month, and now offer a different map… sorry!

Rust.Exposed Archive

For the last year, I was volunteering some work with the game Rust, providing maps. prefabs and server-hosting for clans and groups. I’ve been happy to work on that Unity 3D Engine. But lately, there was too much IRL work to be done properly, so i have less time to work on Rust.

So i decided to drop the official site and let things go… Archives of my work on Rust.Exposed will be stored here for memories.

Heightmap – The Foot

 

This heightmap « the foot » is based on my own footprint.

The Inspiration was simple… using the procgen process to generate basic maps in Rust Servers bring more than often an island with the look of an ET Foot… always some peninsulas, round based, etc… like 99% of the islands on this planet are NOT like that…

So i made this map a foot because mine of funnier than the procgen ones… 🙂

For hte time being, you can visit this map and play on it just for fun.  as usual, just search for us in the Servers listing… «  [EXPOSED]  »

Our goal at rust.exposed is to provide clean and efficient heightmaps so you do not have to struggle on how to design your island.

Use RustEdit to:

– Put monuments, paths, rocks, tunnels and underwater elements in the Procedural way

– Edit the map height, resize it, add more land or islands, etc

– Install your own monuments and prefabs to personalize the map entirely

This release include:

– one Plain Map you can play with

– a basic Procedural Map with random stuff on it.

Elements to consider:

– Offshore balanced, so You have underwater labs, loots, icebergs etc

– Land has different mountains and cliffs structure so it’s not monotonous or impossible to climb

– Size is always 4444 but you can resize the map easily before editing it

– The demo map can be used on your server, but you surely can do better while editing it to your tastes

– The map is structured so all types of roads are possible by procgen not only by hand

– The map is balanced in lands and steeps, so you have beaches and mountains

– If this map is based on a IRL location, the heights are supposed to fit in proportions 1/100m

– Even when using procedural generation, your roads and monuments will not be off, because the terrain is well balanced – or the procgen fuck up by itself!

Sammy est parmis nous pour rester…

Depuis quelques jours, nous accueillons Sammy, une mère reproductrice de Bouvier Bernois de type Européens *(plus costauds)

Elle devait passer le test de la maison, et bam, Ezekiel s’est décidé de nous montrer le résultat!

Clairement notre plus grosse patate à date, elle fait un bon 25% trop grosse pour sa race, elle va devoir faire de l’exercice en courant 2km tous les jours dans le boisé avec… Jip!

Oxide – Core and Plugins for Rust

Oxide is THE engine to add features to your Rust server. If you want to customize Rust Gameplay, you can not without using Oxide. uMod is the repository of everything free for this engine, which is a good place where to start.

You have first to install and activate Oxide on your server before adding plugins. You have to deactivate auto-update on your Rust install to do so, or you will have problems running plugins.

There is not much to « see » on that website, but more things to read and understand to make things work.  I’m not going to support your installation, but if you need help on how to customize the Oxide work, i suggest you visit the Community tab on that site.
