On any report, will send a PM to moderators or admins, and can also deactivate email sending on setting. (post, album, image, visitor message)

As this is just a phrase, you can customize the text.

The former turkish support forum named vbTech.net, owned and operated by Mert Gökçeimam (aka Lizard King) is now merged to vbEnhancer.com to continue the service to the turkish community.

It’s not the first forum to be merged into vbEnhancer.com, we will also have some other sites which will be announced later this season. yeah, i had to evaluate a lot of things regarding this site, and today i dropped the last things i thought were to be dropped…

first, no more community help… people in need of help for their vBulletin will go to the .org or the .com… these are the official places anyway, so Jelsoft will never be able to complain about me.

then, the products… i’m mostly done with iTrader, the first product i wanted to show on the site re-opening… the whole thing was not complicated to recode, i’m not rebuilding it right now, i was just merging all the features and recode the PHP in it to fit the real vB protocol… i’m done then, and in the next hours i phrase everything.

i’m not waiting for the MTF, people will read about it even if it is not released yet… the MTF engine need to be perfect so we test for the time we need to test it.

i will continue to release 2 or 3 hacks per day in the next weeks, i suppose i can release 100 or more hacks in the next weeks, and this is just regarding existing codes. yesterday i coded a gadget that was not on the market, so i think i can continue with these too… makes this site the biggest non-vb.org related release website… 100% of all the others are related to vb.org, most of them are even leeching vb.org’s content to make a living of it.

that’s it for the « news ». … i finish restructuring the forums right now, and continue with iTrader… which i mostly forgot about in the last days because i wanted to do something else…

Always wanted to « secure » your administration process when you edited/deleted forums?… Wanted to speedup the move of thousands of threads before deleting a forum?

This engine is very simply to understand, and is missing from vBulletin. I coded the original version inside Invision Board, and when i came to vBulletin i thought it was already integrated, but even 5 years after, it’s still missing.

When you delete a forum, with the default vBulletin, here is the screen you have:

This is kind of unsafe, you know nothing about what you’re about to delete, and you have no idea what to do with it. You are forced to move all these threads before thinking to delete the forum, and you are not always sure you’re deleting the right forum… So here is the solution:

The dropdown is the list of your forums, the exact same dropdown you have when you Edit your forum and navigate thru it to choose a forum.

Once you submit this form, your forum will be deleted, BUT before that, all the threads are moved where you choose to, or not… 🙂

When ever I post in a thread I get the error message like I am double posting:

This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 29 seconds.

This is on ‘quick reply’ I haven’t tried with an ‘advanced reply’

Ok, vbEnhancer.com is a place where we merged different vBulletin support sites into a single one, and to avoid messing too much with the settings, we only merged users when they had the same email address.

So if you were a former member of one of the sites we merged with, you may see your old username somewhere and want to merge it with your new account…

The only way possible will be to PM me or Contact Us with the details of both accounts… username and email, plus your password…

Most of these accounts have no post, so it’s usually useless to merge accounts… but if you really want to do so, we can do it — remember it’s a basic feature in vBulletin, so refusing to do so it pathetic!

Will give style to Ranged and Recuring Events

Here is the default display of a calendar with a Single day, a ranged and a recuring events….

Here is what you get with this product:

See the detail with the ranged event, a ending gray line which identify the end of the event. The recuring event is just plain blue with italic, but can be anything else. The example is simple, subtil, but that was my goal here… you can edit the product template to make a CSS with better style.

This is a list where you put all the userid of the members/admins/super-mod who do not want to receive the email alerts on each Report or Infraction made on the forum.

This is a simple whitelist of a sort, because you may not want all the moderators to receive these reports emails… (i personally hate to have these emails, but some like them)

Engine Updated: added the choice to send the email to different types of persons…

Show Thread Stats below the navbar (replace forum-description)

This is a simple hack that can be enhanced a lot by adding more stats or rules, depending on what you want to do with it. This is a really basic startup for coders with ideas!
