would be cool to have a CVS, so if someone update an attachment, the old one is stored in backup, and only the new one is shown. also if someone delete an attachment, it is stored in the same backup and the file seems deleted…

i suppose it’s not complicated to do… this would be just awesome for releases… and to avoid the crisis we see on vb.org all the time about deleted and graveyard…

As you may notice, you can not, in most case, add a signature in your profile. We have a sponsoring engine on the site that let you advertise your business or services, so if you want to display a banner or a tagline, you can contact us and join the group.

We approve signatures in a simple way:

1- a tagline with a url, link or web-addy
2- a tagline, plus a banner 468×60, with url, link or web-addy

we will have a shop for these options in no long.

Sorry if it may look unfamiliar, but the private messaging engine is active only for internal support between coders/designers and the clients. Regular users have no private messaging for a simple reason: we have a forum!

We want to keep most of the conversations on the forum, to avoid spam and flaming in private. We know the song, it’s not the only place where it occurs, we just want to prevent. It’s nothing personal to you, it’s « just » for everybody.

What are the features that you would dream of? – vBTEAM Underground

read this, you will see that the principle is very easy to execute… basically, if i do it right, this product itself could be sold to a great number of « relatives » forums… the only thing we really need is the structure of the forums, how it is displayed, and how sub-forums can altern with the others.

i would think to add a block inside each sub-forum with a reversed sub-forum tree… instead of just showing the sub-forum of the forum itself, it also display the parents, in order… inversed… i suppose it’s logical to say it that way.

the guy who asked it in the thread i started on vbteam.info is ready to pay for the whole thing, not just use it for free like i suggest to offer the CORE of MTF only for free so they can play with it… so it’s a client.

Ok, MTF is pretty much done. Right now I’m testing and making code more efficient. I would say it is done but still in a beta phase. We really shouldn’t release it for March 1st (it needs more testing then that). I think by March 7th we could do enough testing to declare it ‘stable’, and this means we will need to have the three basic addons done (links, articles, and albums right?).

1- i’m creating a small style for the site, and the logotype will look like this:

the tagline would be better with a blinking « UP », but i prefer simple.. lol.. it means « did you check if your site was the best in town today? if not, see what we got for you! »…

the style is minimal, i want people to see the real impact of our products on a clean vB so they see if it fits their site — rare are the sites with a really customized style anyway.

looks like everybody’s dream is on the path… i mean, pathetic…

our main target now is to be their essential addon… MTF will be essential to that CMS as they need blocks, features, addons… so we need this to be the best crap IB/Jelsoft will need to buy.

Well right now in MTF there are no template edits but I use str_replace on the vbulletin->templatecache variable. There have been no problems but i read this vBulletin.org Forum and it kind of made me think should we just have template edits?

I’ve read a ton of complaints on vb.org about the lack of support, bad administration, blah blah…

You have to understand that i did not open this site to compete vb.org. We are two complete different entities with complete different goals.

So please do not bring your vB.org stuff on my site, i will likely delete or lock the discussions… if you have to complaint about any of the Jelsoft possessions, just go to the company.

I do not say i’m ok with the situation, i just say that my site is not the place for debating vB.org’s situation.
