At the origin, Trafix from vb.org did the whole work, but life took him for the best he was worth, and in our sadness, he died the year after, in 2006.

in 2007, Todd, from URLJet.com took a right to rework Trafix engine and release it here: vBulletin Election Booth – vBulletin.org Forum , but without any proper property right on the script, it was requested that the engine cease distribution.

in fact, it’s fun, i own all of Trafix’s work because i requested it from him while we were working on vb.org both of us, and he was about to leave when i had this right… but i never had the time to refurbish his work.

This week, i had contact with [user]URLJet[/user], who was actually a member here but i never noticed… and he granted me the right on his engine so i can recode it, distribute it and support his clients for it.

Good then… in the next weeks that’s what we will re-evaluate, the entire structure of this engine…

The tickers are all part of a single engine which is called the « nex_ticker », and they all run the same way, so they can be integrated to the same forum without conflicts.

These tickers are all packaged with one default pack of images, and each additional pack of images can be purchased seperately, there are different costs depending on the complexity of the work done on them, and you can even request new exclusive custom packs of images that our in-house designer will do for you *(at her own rate$ )…

At first, each ticker is sold 50$, not so high, considering the usage you will make from it… 🙂

The installation on special servers may be required as the engine need to control everything on image creation, and you need « ImageMagick » to be installed on your server before doing so… this can be handled as the installation is included in the price.

Due to general requests, we’re releasing some of our new products in the next weeks.

The first one is a « Pregnancy Ticker », where members with the proper permissions will be able to produce their own ticker that will display their due date schedule. Members can display these tickers anywhere they go on the net, and the ticker will update daily without the need to interact with it.

As we already own the vbMates and the vbPals from MadeByMary, we decided it was a better solution to merge them into our new system instead of releasing everything seperately and miss the point of a complete engine. So in the next weeks we will be working this complete system to become the best solution ever, and we will also have an import script for the older versions of MadeByMary’s work.

Well after much hard work here is the update beta of MTF and beta one of the releases and points engine..
Install Steps:
1. Upload MTF Files
2. Install MTF product
3. Upload Points and Releases Files
4. Install Products..

NOTE: Currently on the points engine i have it in « developer mode » this mean it uses sandbox.paypal.com features (you should probably get an account so you can test this)
