Based on the well known phpAuctions, we need a complete auction engine, product of vBulletin, with two types of auctions.

A simple interface where members can create their own pages via rss feeds
(external sources). I’m aware that some already exists for free – but they
are not what I’m looking for. If you have something like this let me know.

We (*********.com) have some needs – one is a contest-like app. A good example of this is funofficepools.com. If you can duplicate funofficepools.com please let me know ASAP.

If yes, how much would you charge for the above – exclusive ownership? (lol, it doesn’t hurt to to ask)

In my first years coding for vBulletin, i had to develop a lot of features that were requested by admins and members of the vb.org site… i started coding for 3.0, and since 3.5, i do not release my work anymore… but a lot of hacks i coded are now part or the newer releases of vBulletin… when the 3.5 version was released, more than 15 000 lines of my codes were mimic in the official release, so my work was done… i inspired enough the guys there, now it’s time for them to do more!

So here is a little list of things i coded in the first days… you can easily find these features in the newest versions of vBulletin.

• Server Loads Limit* for FreeBSD systems too (was first for Windows servers only)
• Sort Order and Sort Field per Forum Basis
• Display Threads Per Creation Date in Forum Display
• Change navbar color on new PM
• Everybody see Thread Hits and Forum Posts in Private Forums

• Forum Read per Forum on Icon
• Daily New Posts when no results on New Posts
• Markout of Newer posts since last visit
• « Empty Folder – delete all messages » in Private Messages
• Full Permissions on Signatures
• Attachment Manager in UserCP
• Members Albums – was multiple-profile pictures
• Avatars on Friends list (now contacts and friends)
• Invisible Mode
• Skype IM in profile
• Log User Edits actions

Will display a link to directly edit any forum when you have the level to edit forums.

This quick addon will help to spare 3 clicks for any admin who is editing forums all the time. This is very handy when you have a day with multiple forums to edit… once the job is done, simply deactivate or uninstall the product so you are not bothered with the asterisks all day long..

The script will detect ADMINS only… it will activate the same way the AdminCP link display on the footer… so if you have access to the admincp link, you have access to this addon!

Two addons in one…

1- Add Style to attachment blocks in threads. You can decide where to display the attachments blocks in the postbit:

2- Add Attachments to Events in Calendar… (this one is really obsolete and need attention from me!)

A simple action for moderators that can send a user in the Coventry List via a single action in the Postbit… can do the opposite and retrieve that user from coventry via the same action.

Permissions Based:

1- have to be moderator
2- can’t put a supermod to coventry if you are not an admin
3- can’t put a admin to coventry

…

when someone is in the coventry, moderators can still see the posts, so the system also add the link to get someone out of coventry…

« discreet » for — not filling the entire forum with banners and ads…

I provide a screenshot of the admincp side of things for now… there is a lot more settings and configurations, i will also provide more screenshots when i have time to find the good ones, but this thread is just a teaser, i have to convert the actual engine to make it more suitable for mega sites…

This is a novelty you will NEVER find anywhere else in any vBulletin product… you can customize fields you want to add to your entries…

‘told you there was some surprises on this engine!

This small addon will display the last time of activity for Offline buddies in your Buddy List (Contact Popup).

REASON: because i hate to not be able to see when my buddies were last online…

This is one of the few products i have that require a minimal file edit… because without it, there is no activity time…

note: october 15th 2009, edit of the product, will now show the username markup, so the style of the IM listing is greater…
