vBulletins current system with infractions, reports, and user notes (I’ve never used the notes system) are not at all connected. My thought would be that instead of having everything seperate something like this would happen:
Users report a post -> Moderators recieve report and have direct options to use infraction system and on of the options in the infraction system is ban the user. Then remove all parts of the current ban system and just have it be a part of the infraction system.

Software: I designed for my vbulletin board though these can be used any software and applied on sites.

Installation: Upload to your /misc folder. Because they come in .png format you will have to change the extension from .gif to .png in the Admincp >> vboptions >> Social Bookmarking Manager.

Additional Info: Because I’ve added a couple more that aren’t in the default vbulletin bookmark manager you will need to go into the showthread_bookmarksite template and adjust the following (style= »width:16%;) code so that the icons remain on one line. Obviously, the amount of icons determines the number percentage you insert adjust this accordingly to suit your preference you do the math.

This product add the ability to move orphan users to a different usergroup when deleting a usergroup.

In the last 2 years, more than 90 products were released for free on this site, all of them yet to be released integrated to a future version of vBulletin… All these addons are useful to someone, and none of them is pointless. Thanks for the ideas everybody.

The releases found in that directory are all the available codes that were released in the past 2 years, all up-to-date to the version of their period, the 3.8.4 vBulletin version. Some of them will be available for the new 4.0 generation, and they will be available in that section of the site as soon as they are recoded.

Whatelse do we have in these?… If we have to code something else for vBulletin that is not more than 200 lines long, we will drop it in the complimentaries as well, and this is a big plus for you, as 75% of our latest releases were less than 200 lines long.

Due to the increase of registrations requesting support and professional products for vBulletin, our subscription formula had to evolve at the same pace. So instead of having seperate subscription for each of our key-products, we’ll now offer a global monthly subscription that will give access to all our products.

This is a large gain compared to our previous plans, as in the past you had to purchase each of our key-products piece by piece, and also subscribe to special plans to receive support. This was requested a lot, about 45% of our regular subscribers requested to have a more flexible plan, because their first interest was to access our products once as they were not really interested to visit often… we must say that 90% of our visitors never need support, so they come once and are happy for a long time.

So the plans changed, what’s up with the old « lifetime » subscription? It stand still for the subscribed, it is only not available anymore, it’s a gained privilege for long term members. There is also a surprise when you subscribe. Once your monthly period is ended, you still continue to have access to the complimentaries products, as a lifetime gift.

And, what do we gain with the new monthly subscription?… access to all our products, download and debug, installation and setup if required.

So there will be no paid products no more? Exactly. The new formula cover the price of all our « possibly paid products » that were seperated in the past. This also include the products to come in the future.

We now have two levels of access, one with support *(Gold), the other without *(Silver). You can access these within the Payments System.

And i always hear someone asking for free access to the freebies… until now these freebies, or complimentaries, were available freely here, but that period ended too, as we had to face the problem of bandwidth usage by the free leechers… So now, we still have these freebies available, but only on vBulletin.org, when you visit my profile…

Ive got this idea I wanted to put forward for your review.

Trialpay, Super rewards, Gratis pay etc are all virtual currency sites. At present they all take advantage of the social network world by offering one click integration.

Members complete offers and in return earn points. The admin earns money for every offer completed. What you offer in return for the points is upto the admin. On the social network sites such as facebook they are a popular way for members to get points to spend in games, however forums could offer mods, styles etc in return for points.

An example of this on a forum would be:- Instead of paying $10 for a key, they could complete offers to earn points. Once they have enough points these could be exchange for a key.

You earn more then the $10, as you set the exchange rate. Members dont have to pay anything, just complete a few offers.

I really do think many forums could take advantage of this system. Ive certainly got a way to use it on my forum that im currently developing, but I just dont have the php knowledge to create a callback script and incorporate this into vbcredits.

In any case, integration with vBCredits is pretty much just manipulating the credits column on the vbulletin user table.

I hope I haven’t waffled on to much!

Not really sure if here would be the best place to ask, but does someone know if there’s a product handling this around?

Now that VB Projects is released a a free MOD with VB4.0, can you work on integrating Project Tools to you social groups MOD.

THis was requested at Vb.org by 11 people under paid MOD.

ALso note that there is a MOD called SocialForums which integrates Forums into Groups (dicussions become like a forum discussions).

Your MOD adds events functionality.

Adding Projects will make a complete product.
